Master John, the founder of the club, is a seasoned martial artist with an outstanding competitive record, holding prestigious titles such as NSW Champion, Australian Champion, and Pan Pacific Masters Champion. His dedication to martial arts is reflected in both his achievements and his commitment to developing skilled and disciplined fighters.

With a 5th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo from Kukkiwon, Master John’s expertise extends beyond Taekwondo, as he has also trained in Boxing and Krav Maga, enhancing his striking, self-defense, and tactical combat abilities. His well-rounded approach to martial arts allows him to blend the precision and speed of Taekwondo with the powerful striking of Boxing and the practical, real-world self-defense techniques of Krav Maga.

As a leader and mentor, Master John is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with students of all levels. His training philosophy emphasizes discipline, technical excellence, and adaptability, ensuring that his students not only develop strong martial arts skills but also gain confidence, resilience, and a warrior mindset.

Kickboxing & Kung fu

Shifu Edmond is a highly skilled and versatile martial arts instructor, specializing in Kickboxing and Kung Fu. Holding a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo from Kukkiwon and a 3rd Dan in Kickboxing certified by the World Kickboxing Association (WKA), he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his students.

Beyond his achievements in Taekwondo and Kickboxing, Shifu Edmond has dedicated years to training in various styles of Kung Fu and weaponry under the guidance of esteemed international Grandmasters. His deep understanding of traditional and modern combat techniques allows him to offer a well-rounded training approach, blending the speed and agility of Kickboxing, the precision of Taekwondo, and the fluid, powerful movements of Kung Fu.

Master Jad Ibrahim

Taekwondo Instructor

Master Jad is a dedicated and accomplished Taekwondo instructor, holding a 4th Dan Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon, the global authority in Taekwondo.

With a deep passion for martial arts, he has not only excelled in Taekwondo but has also expanded his skill set by attending numerous Muay Thai seminars in Thailand, learning from top trainers in the art of eight limbs.

As an instructor, Master Jad is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience with his students, focusing on discipline, technique, and practical application. Whether training for competition, self-defense, or personal growth, his students benefit from his wealth of experience and dedication to martial arts excellence.

Master George is a highly accomplished martial artist, holding a 4th Dan Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon, the world’s leading authority in Taekwondo.

With years of dedicated training and competition, he has honed his expertise not only in Taekwondo but also in Sanda Kung Fu, a dynamic and full-contact combat sport known for its powerful strikes, throws, and sweeps.

Taekwondo Womens Instructor

Coach Chandu Shahi is a highly skilled Taekwondo athlete and coach who leads our female-only classes with dedication and expertise. She holds a 3rd Dan Kukkiwon black belt and brings a wealth of international experience, having earned over 25 medals in global competitions. Coach Chandu has competed and coached at high-level events including the US Open, Oceania Open, and Gold Coast Open. Her training approach focuses on building strength, flexibility, endurance, and confidence in every student. She specializes in mentoring female athletes, helping them excel both technically and mentally. With a strong background in competition strategy and athlete development, she creates a supportive and empowering training environment. Coach Chandu has led numerous workshops and training camps and is known for her attention to detail and motivational leadership. She’s passionate about promoting Taekwondo as a pathway to discipline, fitness, and self-belief. Her classes are designed to help women of all levels thrive and reach their full potential. We’re proud to have her as a key leader at our dojang, inspiring the next generation of female martial artists.
